located in an area earmarked for intensive urban redevelopment

the miami sewerage pumphouse is an existing facility that will remain in place

in this proposal it is transformed into a working example of solar energy harvesting

the pumphouse is covered by an array of 36
tracking and concentrating solar electric generators

the solar array has 5 hours each day to produce the energy required
to power 5 - 350 horsepower water pumps
running 24 hours a day
